EZUI runs in your phone's browser and connects to your ICATS over your local WiFi network. No app installation is needed.
Launching EZUI
With your ICATS and projector powered on, a QR code is projected onto the table surface.
- Open the camera app on your phone.
- Point it at the QR code on the table.
- Tap the link that appears.
EZUI opens in your browser and is ready to use.
If the QR code is not readable — for example, on a table that has not yet been calibrated — the URL is also displayed as text beneath the code. Type that address directly into your browser's address bar to launch EZUI.
WiFi Requirements
EZUI depends entirely on your local WiFi network. Two conditions must both be true for it to work:
- WiFi must be functional.
- Your phone and your ICATS must be connected to the same WiFi router.
If either condition is not met, EZUI will not connect. When WiFi is unavailable, the physical keyboard included with your ICATS can be used to operate the system in the meantime. Keyboard operation is covered in Using the Keyboard with ICATS EZ.
