EZUI is the primary way to operate ICATS EZ, but it requires a working WiFi connection. When WiFi is unavailable, the physical keyboard included with your ICATS provides full control over the system.
The keyboard interface uses a tabbed menu and a set of shortcut keys. Both are described below.

Accessing the Keyboard Menu
Right-click on an empty area of the projected table surface to open the menu. Three tabs are available:
- Table — load/save drills, toggle the grid, flip the layout
- Settings — configure projector mount, table size, aiming ball style, calibration, and updates
- Quit — shut down or put the system into Standby
Table Tab
The Table menu contains operations that affect the whole table:
- Drill → Load — opens the File Manager so you can browse and load drills
- Flip → Horz — flips all drill elements horizontally
- Flip → Vert — flips all drill elements vertically
Settings Tab
The Settings menu provides the same configuration options as the EZUI Settings screen:
- Projector Mount — left-click the triangles to toggle between Side Mount and End Mount
- Table Size — left-click the triangles to scroll through table size options, ensuring balls display at the correct scale
- Aiming Ball Style — toggle between X/Y and Clock display formats for Aiming Balls
- Calibrate — enter Calibration mode; refer to the ICATS Setup Guide for the full calibration process
- Update — left-click to check for and install available program and content updates
Quit Tab

The Quit menu provides three options:
- Standby — recommended; displays the QR code and prepares for next use
- Shutdown — initiates a full shutdown; wait 30 seconds before removing power
- To Pi — rarely needed; used primarily for support and diagnostic purposes
