Target Practice GuidePDF

Target Practice defaults to 9 target positions distributed across the table. An extended mode provides 21 target positions for more precise leave training.

9 Target Positions (Default)

The 9 default positions cover the table in a 3×3 grid pattern. They are labeled T1 through T9.

T1Upper right
T2Lower right
T3Upper center-right
T4Lower center-right
T5Upper center
T6Lower center
T7Upper left
T8Lower left

The 9-target layout is the starting point for all ICA Solutions. Each base layout in the database pairs with all 9 target positions.

21 Target Positions (Extended Mode)

The extended mode adds 12 additional positions offset from the original 9, producing 21 target positions in total. This option is intended for players who want finer control over cue ball placement and more precise leave training.

To enable 21 targets, go to the Setup tab and change the Num. Targets setting from 9 to 21.

The 12 additional positions are labeled T10 through T21 and fill in the gaps between the original 9 positions.

Note: ICA Solutions are built around the 9-target configuration. User solutions can be created for any target position in either mode.
