The Target Practice database is built by placing an object ball at a specific table position, then enumerating all makeable shots from that position based on cue ball placement and pocket. This produces a range of layout numbers for each object ball position.
Only one quadrant of the table is directly represented. The other three quadrants are accessed by flipping the current layout:
- H — flip the table horizontally
- V — flip the table vertically

Using This Table
If you have identified a troublesome object ball position during play, locate the corresponding layout range above, then go to the Setup tab and enter any layout number within that range in the Enter Layout # field. Click Load to display that layout with Target position 1.
From there you can use filtering to narrow down to the specific shot types within that object ball zone.
