Launching Stats
Press Shift+S to start Stats. Stats immediately analyzes the currently displayed drill, assigns it to a category, and opens the appropriate menu.
If Multi-User mode is enabled in the Setup menu, Stats will first prompt you to confirm which user's session is being started. Subsequent scoring and reporting will reflect that user until Stats is restarted.
Sessions
Each time Stats starts, it creates a new Session. A Session records the date, time, active user, and all scoring data collected during that workout. Sessions are the basis for date-based filtering and progress tracking over time.
Because Sessions are date-stamped, you can use the Filters menu later to narrow results to a specific date range and observe how your performance has changed.
Workflow Summary
A typical Stats workflow follows these steps in order:
- Start Stats — press Shift+S
- Navigate to your first drill — using standard ICATS drill loading methods
- Respond to the Preshot menu — only required for Pattern and Aiming drills
- Score your workout — using the Scoring menu for each attempt
- Review results — using the Results menu for the current drill
- Filter across all drills — using the Filters menu to find improvement priorities
Each of these steps is covered in its own section of this guide. If you want to set the number of attempts per shot before starting your workout, visit the Setup menu after launching Stats. The default is 3 attempts per shot.
