The Filters menu operates at a higher level than the Results menu. Rather than showing results for a single drill, it analyzes your entire database of captured results and surfaces the specific drills and shots where your performance is falling short of your goals. This makes it easy to build a targeted agenda for upcoming sessions.

The Three Filter Sections

The Filters menu is organized into three sections that work together:

Date Filter

The date filter narrows the analysis to results captured within a specific time window. The current filter status is shown at the top of the Filters screen.

To set dates:

  1. Click Set to open the date sub-menu.
  2. Enter a Start Date, an End Date, or both in MM/DD/YY format.
  3. Click Save to apply the filter and return to the Filters screen.

All Filter Results and Drill Stats shown in the Filters tab will be restricted to the selected date range. Click Clear to remove the date filter and return to analyzing all results.

Category Filter

Because each drill category tracks different result types, you can only analyze one category at a time. Click the checkbox for the category you want to analyze. The menu redraws to show the result filter options available for that category.

Nine categories are available: Aiming, Banking, Pattern, Cue Ctrl, Kicking, Breakdown, Safety, Speed Ctrl, and Transition.

Result Filter

Each category has a default Primary Filter already enabled — this represents the most important result for that category. For most categories, the Primary Filter is Aim (pocketing success), since making the ball is the fundamental requirement. The Transition category uses a hybrid primary filter requiring all three of: Aim=Good, Distance Off Target=0, and Scratch=No.

You can add additional result filters alongside the primary filter to narrow the analysis further. For each enabled filter, an additional column appears in the results showing that result's value for each shot.

The full list of filterable results and their comparison values for each category is in Filter Values.

Applying Filters

After configuring the date, category, and result filters, click the Filters button at the bottom of the screen to execute the analysis.

If your filter criteria are too restrictive to match any data, no shots are returned and a message prompts you to relax the filter conditions.
