Updating your ICATS

Under most situations, if an update is available, you will be prompted to accept the update (Y/N) upon starting your ICATS. In some instances, such as a purchase of a new module, you will receive an email that an update is available. If you need to initiate an Update, perform the following steps:

• Right-Click on an open spot on the table.
• Left-Click on the "Settings" menu tab.
• Left-Click the "Update" button.

These steps will ensure your ICATS is updated to the latest program version, as well as downloading any drill modules your ICATS is authorized for.

The update process occasionally proceeds in two steps, with the program being updated in a first phase, and any updated modules being loaded in a second phase. So don't be surprised if you are asked twice to approve an update!
