Text Boxes
TBoxes provide readable information to the user, typically containing helpful instructions from the author on how the drill is to be executed. When the author saves the Drill, TBoxes can be left at full size to ensure the user sees the information, or left in icon form for the user to expand if desired. TBoxes are not resizable, but automatically expand to accommodate the text. Additional functions available through the Right-Click Menu are:
- Edit -- Edit the contents of the TBox. Arrow keys, delete and backspace allow the text to be changed.
- Rotate -- Selecting "Rotate" adds a frame with circular "control points". A Left-Click-and-Drag can be done on the control points to rotate the TBox to the author's desired orientation.
- Remove -- Selecting "Remove" will delete the TBox from the layout.

QR Codes
QR Codes can be added to drills, allowing the Author to provide links to useful additional information or videos. QR Codes have similar behavior to a TBox, with a single left-click first expanding for scanning, and then shrinking back to an icon during shooting. To add a QR Code it must be created, perhaps through one of the many free online services, and copied to the ICATS using a USB stick and the File Manager. Then create a TBox (Ctrl-b), right-click on the TBox, and select "QR Code" from the menu. Using the File Manager, select the QR Code (JPG or PNG) and the QR Code will be added to the drill. When the drill is saved, the QR Code is embedded in the drill allowing the original JPG/PNG to be deleted to prevent "clutter".
