Pattern BreakdownPDF

Pattern Breakdown is controlled primarily with the arrow keys:

  • Right Arrow -> Next step
  • Left Arrow -> Previous step

After loading a Pattern Breakdown drill, the display cycles through structured states.

1. Full Pattern Display

All OBalls, PBalls, and track lines are visible.

This provides a full overview of the run-out. Large patterns may look busy. That is intentional. The next steps progressively simplify the view.

2. Object Balls Only

Press Right Arrow.

All PBalls and track lines disappear. Only OBalls remain.

This allows independent table analysis before following guided instructions.

3. Shot Display

Press Right Arrow again.

For each shot:

  • The active PBall and its track line are shown.
  • The next PBall is displayed as the leave target.
  • Unsunk OBalls remain visible.
  • Previously completed OBalls are removed.

Final Shot

Only the final PBall and OBall remain.

Complete the shot without scratching. A final Right Arrow returns to the full pattern view.
