Shortcut keys provide fast keyboard access to the most common ICATS operations. The most important shortcut to know is ? — pressing it at any time displays the full up-to-date list of shortcuts available on your system.
Table Shortcuts
These shortcuts affect the whole table or the currently loaded drill.
| Key | Function |
|---|---|
| d | Display the name of the current drill |
| h | Flip all ICA elements horizontally |
| v | Flip all ICA elements vertically |
| ↑ / ↓ | Load the next / previous drill in the current folder |
| l | Open the File Manager to browse and load drills |
| A | Toggle the Aiming Ball on/off |
System Shortcuts
These shortcuts handle system-level operations, primarily for maintenance.
| Key | Function |
|---|---|
| ? | Display all available shortcut keys |
| U | Force a program and content update |
| Q | Quit the ICATS program and return to the Linux desktop. To relaunch, double-click the ICA Pool icon on the desktop. |
| b | Blank the projector — hides all ICA elements. Press any other key to restore the display. |
| F | Add the current drill to Favorites (if loaded from another folder), or remove it from Favorites (if loaded from the Favorites folder) |
Note: Under normal circumstances, updates should be initiated from the Settings menu rather than with the U key. The menu-based update is the preferred and faster method. The U shortcut is available if ICA support specifically asks you to use it.
