The Tools screen shows controls that apply to the drill currently displayed on the table. Only tools relevant to the current drill type are shown — you will not see Pattern Breakdown controls, for example, unless a Pattern Breakdown drill is loaded.
Open the Tools screen by tapping the Tools icon on the main screen. Tap Back (left-facing arrow) to return.

Pattern Breakdown Controls
These controls appear when a Pattern Breakdown drill is active.
- Next Shot (right arrow) — advances to the next shot in the sequence
- Previous Shot (left arrow) — steps back to the previous shot in the sequence
Flip
- Horz — flips the displayed drill horizontally
- Vert — flips the displayed drill vertically
Flipping is useful when a shot is more natural to approach from the mirrored table position, or when you want to practice the same geometry from the opposite side.
Other Controls
- Blank — toggles the projected display on and off. Use this when you want to attempt a shot without any visual hints or guides on the table. Pressing Blank again restores the display.
- Text Box — expands or collapses text boxes and QR codes overlaid on the drill. Expand to read annotations or scan a QR code; collapse to clear the table view.
- Hide ABall — cycles through levels of hint removal. The first press hides the Aiming Ball; the second press also hides track lines; the third press restores everything. Use this to challenge yourself to execute the shot without guidance.
- Invert JPG — inverts the colors of any table image (JPG or PNG) projected with the drill. Some table image drills are more playable after inversion depending on your projector's brightness and the table cloth color.
