Standard Layout Workflow
This page walks you through building a drill from scratch. It's the most complete end-to-end process in the guide — you'll use nearly every element type by the time you're done. Follow these steps in order for your first several drills, and you'll quickly develop a feel for which steps you can reorder or skip once you know the tools.
The Workflow

- Create the CBall Track Line. Right-Click the cue ball and select Track. Move the cursor to the Ghost Ball on the OBall and Left-Click to anchor the first segment. Continue Left-Clicking through each subsequent contact point (rails, other balls). Double-Left-Click at the final destination to finish.
- Reshape the Track Line if needed. Right-Click any segment of the Track Line and select Reshape. Left-Click-and-Drag the control points until the path matches your intended result. Left-Click anywhere on the table to exit reshape mode.
- Label Track Line segments if needed. Right-Click the segment where you want a label and select Add Label. A label appears at the midpoint. Delete the default text and type your label. Left-Click on the table to finish.

Add more balls, more lines, more targets. There's no limit to how complex a layout can get — build it until it says exactly what you want it to say.
Tip: Save early and save often. There's no undo history beyond the current session. The
sshortcut is fast — use it after any significant change.
